About me....

I’m Sarah and I live in Surrey with my husband Ollie and our little Cavapoo puppy Mabel. I’ve been baking all my life after being taught by my Mum when I was little. My favourite recipes are passed down from my Nan in a lovely old cookbook. 

 

Since I became an Auntie to 6 lovely nieces and nephews, I decided to up my baking game and learn how to decorate too, so that I could always make their birthday cakes! That is my favourite thing about baking – being able to show my love through creating something homemade as a gift. 

 

I suffer from chronic migraines and find baking is a great activity to calm my mind and focus on. After finishing work in Human Resources, I have decided to take my baking to the next level and open my own business! Stay tuned on here to see how it develops.....

My favourite things to bake are NYC style cookies. I also love rustic traybakes like brownies and rocky road. I pride myself on using only the best quality ingredients - Callebaut Belgian Chocolate, Marriage's flour, Tate & Lyle sugar and branded chocolate such as Terry's Chocolate orange, Toblerone, Kinder etc. I truly believe baking with fresh ingredients makes such a difference to the taste and quality (and hey, if its homemade, then surely its more healthy right?!!!)
