Kinder Brownie Stack

Updated: Oct 3, 2023

Today I am going to share a guide of how to turn these ingredients into.......

A Kinder Blondie & Brownie stack cake! A perfect alternative to a traditional sponge birthday cake - this appeals to people of all ages and is perfect for everyone to 'pick at'.

Firstly, you will need to bake a Kinder Blondie slab and a Kinder Brownie slab. I used Jane's Patisserie for these recipes (love her blog!).

Instead of using Nutella on the top, I wanted to keep it looking light, so I used a hazelnut spread instead.

Once both slabs have cooled, I pop them into the fridge for an hour, which really helps firm them up for cutting. Using a big knife (which you can dunk into hot water every few slices to clean), cut each slab into 16 pieces.

Grab yourself a cake board, some cocktail sticks and melt a small amount of chocolate. There is no art to arranging the pieces and you can have a play around stacking them up before securing in place. I usually do one layer per flavour to get the colour contrast, but you could just mix them all up!

Dab a small amount of the melted chocolate on the base of your brownies to attach them to the cake board. Then use the cocktail sticks to keep the layers on top in place.

I drizzled some dark and white chocolate over the top (but you could leave this part out) and then placed some extra Kinder chocolate and Kinder bueno peices in different parts.

As this cake was for a birthday celebration, I added a cake topper from Etsy and matching candles.

Top feedback from my nieces after distributing and tasting (the fun part!!!!).

If you would like to order one of these, drop me an email: Sarah.tallon@outlook.com and we can personalise the topper and candles.
