I am very excited to announce that I am opening my baking business today!!! I have spent all of lockdown preparing my kitchen, testing products, completing my Food Safety training and registering with my local council. It has been a dream of mine to have my own business baking from home and selling products that I love making.
As we are in December, I have decided to launch 2 Christmas products. The first is a Rocky Road Christmas Wreath. If you have read any of my previous posts, you will notice I am a big Rocky Road fan! This particular recipe is inspired by the fabulous Nigella Lawson and features seasonal ingredients such as amaretto biscuits, nuts, cherries and lots of delicious milk and dark chocolate.
It is shaped in the form of a Christmas Wreath and is drizzled on top with White Chocolate and decorated with edible holly leaves and chocolate berries.
It would make a perfect gift for a loved one this Christmas, or for yourself if you are hosting over the festive period. It has approximately 20 servings and will keep for 2 weeks in an airtight container. Each wreath will be individually wrapped and is priced at £18.95. Allergy notice: contains nuts.
The second product I am launching is Mince Pies! A perfect Christmas classic - these little beauties are made from homemade sweet pastry and my secret mincemeat recipe that is full of delicious seasonal flavours (and lots of brandy!!!!). You could order these as a gift, but you might just fancy a little stash for yourself to keep you going through writing Christmas cards and wrapping gifts. They go perfectly with a mid morning cup of tea, or perhaps a post dinner glass of Baileys.
I am selling these in packs 12 for £10, but do contact me if you would like a different amount. These will keep for 1 week if stored in an airtight container and can be frozen up to 3 months. Allergy notice: contains eggs and gluten.
